During the summer season, the road construction company “Groma Hold” is renovating key roads in Blagoevgrad and the region. After repairing key streets in Blagoevgrad, including “Yavorov”, “Dimitar Solunski”, “Ivan Mihaylov”, “14th Regiment”, and others, the company’s teams are now completing the rehabilitation of the section from the village of Zelen Dol to the Stanke Lisichkovo border crossing point.
The road leads to the border with our southwestern neighbor North Macedonia and handles all traffic related to tourism, trade, business, transport, and logistics.
The section has a total length of 24 km, and its complete rehabilitation includes milling, laying new asphalt, new curbs, filling shoulders, shaping verges, cleaning drains, ditches, and vegetation that obstructs road visibility.
The picturesque road connects several villages with Blagoevgrad and the region – Zelen Dol, Selishte, Logodazh, and Obel.
“Due to the heavy traffic, we have made the necessary road arrangements, keeping the road open, while our teams provide on-site signaling and ensure road safety. We have gathered the necessary equipment and human resources to complete the repairs on time and to a high standard. We would like to thank the local authorities and institutions for their cooperation and urge people to drive carefully on the repaired section of the road,” said Viktor Velev, manager of “Groma Hold”.
