Rehabilitation of “Road II 37 Batak – Dospat”, with a length of 25 km.
The beginning of the reconstructed section is at km 185+486.78, and the end is at km 211+767 at the beginning of the town of Dospat. Road class – second; design speed 40 km/h (exceptionally 30 km/h); minimum radius of horizontal curve – 12.00 m; gauge – G8 – 5.50/8.00 m; traffic lanes – 2 x 2.75 m; guide strips – 2 x 0.25 m; shoulders – 2 x 1.00 m.
Preliminary and local repairs, reconstruction of certain sections, and laying of levelling and reinforcing layers of porous asphalt concrete and wearing course have been carried out for the repair of the pavement.
To ensure optimal drainage, the existing ditches were cleaned and new ones were formed, a concrete gutter was built, and drainage was restored with concrete curbs and gutters. Eighty-eight culverts were repaired and 11 new culverts were built.
A new steel safety fence and steel guardrail have been installed along the entire road where necessary. The adjacent shoulders, curbs, sidewalks, slopes, etc. have been repaired.
Eight medium-voltage power lines have been reconstructed in the section.
